Press Release FortuneSport Announces the Rt.R Development Program
17 September 2007 – Gwinnett County, Georgia. FortuneSport Vehicle Engineering Systems today announced the Rt.R Development Program as a client-based R&D tool. Limited to sixty drivers, FortuneSport’s program is unlike others of this type as FortuneSport is asking for a refundable security deposit to participate in the program.
Based on the upcoming Rt.S street vehicle, the Rt.R will be a track-only version of the sports car weighing 1,650 pounds with a powerful 510bhp engine. Standard equipment will be 19” BBS race wheels, Wilwood 380mm rotors in front and 355mm rotors in the rear. An aluminum semi-monocoque chassis featuring an integral steel roll cage with carbon-composite bodywork will be used to reduce the weight of the vehicle.
Test sessions will be facilitated by the use of Skip Barber Racing Schools’ tracks and personnel during the five group test sessions per year. FortuneSport will provide full trackside support at select additional track events throughout the year for the duration of the Rt.R Development Program.
